Hermann Futter has managed the Compass Group, the leading Austrian provider of business information, for more than 30 years.

At the beginning, even before the fall of the Iron Curtain, he was responsible for the investment portfolio in CEE.

In the late 1990s he made the first investments in start-ups. Since 2007 he has been one of the best-known Business Angels and was named "Business Angel of the Year" in 2022. Hermann Futter is a member of the investor advisory board of Initial Factor Speed Invest and of the Austrian Angel Investors Association.

Hermann Futter is married and the father of three children.
