Georg Hittmair, L.L.M. has been a Prokurist [authorised officer] of Compass-Verlag GmbH since 2015 and of Compass-Redaktion GmbH and HF Data Datenverarbeitungsgesellschaft m.b.H. since 2020.

Georg Hittmair studied law and since completing his court internship in 1988 he has specialised in the sale and distribution of information via electronic media.

He then established the CD-ROM department of an Austrian CD pressing plant, with Compass-Verlag being one of their first customers. His career path led him from the manufacturing of storage media to the provision of information, from CD to the internet and finally back to the Compass Group where he has been responsible for legal affairs, HR and public affairs since 2012.

Georg Hittmair is married and has a son.
