The databases of Compass-Verlag GmbH are based on different sources, which are linked and related to each other. This not only requires a high level of technical expertise, but also the work of an editorial team. In many cases we are contractually obliged to identify the original sources for our database, which we are happy to do:
- Business Register of the Republic of Austria, represented by the Federal Ministry of Justice
- Collection of documents for the business register (e.g. balance sheets and contracts)
- Data of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce "Firmen A-Z" (Collection of Businesses from A to Z)
- Address register with geocoding of the Federal Office for Metrology and Surveying
- Insolvency file of the Federal Ministry of Justice
- Austrian Patent Office
- Self-reported information of businesses (research via telephone and websites by the Compass editorial team)
